Subject: Margate Park Safety Committee Meeting

Dear neighbors:

The Margate Park Safety Committee would like to ask all those who are concerned about the illegal activities and homeless problems that are occurring in the lake side parks adjacent to our communities to attend the 2024 Beat CAPS meeting on April 15th at 7 PM at the Margate Park Field House on Marine Drive just south of Argyle.

At the CAPS meeting we will be asking the Chicago Police Department to inform us on how they plan to address the homeless problems and illegal activities in the parks. We would also like to know how they are working with other city of Chicago agencies on solving these problems.

It is important that all those concerned attend this meeting to show the Chicago Police Department that these problems are a major concern to our communities. Even if this is not your beat we still encourage you to attend to let the police department know that the problems in Beat 2024 also affect your neighborhood.
